The Awakening
About
Some secrets refuse to stay buried… even across time.
When sixteen-year-old Zoe Bailey’s father stumbles upon a mysterious artifact buried in their backyard, she has no idea it will upend everything she knows about reality. The artifact isn’t just ancient—it’s alive, and it has plans for her.
As Zoe’s strange new abilities awaken, her family is thrust into a dangerous game of cat and mouse, pursued by forces that want the artifact’s power for themselves. With the help of a cryptic Pokémon Go anomaly, a time-worn worry stone, and a father with secrets of his own, Zoe must unravel the truth before time itself unravels around her.
But the past isn’t always what it seems… and neither is the future.
Praise for this book
I was already hooked from the first book in this series, The Awakening, but this sequel did not disappoint. In fact Dancing with Time surpassed my expectations. I couldn't wait long enough to buy a hard copy (even though I prefer to read actual printed books). And as soon as I downloaded the ebook I just could not put it down. Kind of like Star Wars with a time travel element. The characters are vivid and fun. There's a refreshing value placed on family and honor running through both books so far. And myself living in Fallbrook, I love the references to the place and it's history. Can't wait for book number three!
